Titanium can combine with bone without causing any allergic reaction and is a material that is highly resistant to chewing forces. Dental implants consist of titanium screws, abutments (prosthetic support) and prosthetic parts. The titanium screw piece remains inside the jawbone and acts as the best alternative to natural dental roots by taking the role of the dental root.
