Sinus Operations

What is the sinus cavity?
The sinus cavity is the anatomical cavities located on both sides, just above the upper jaw, adjacent to the roots of the posterior teeth. These voids, which are involved in the sound formation and reducing head weight, tend to sag down over time after tooth loss. This affects the implant treatment to be performed as this will cause the volume and size of the jaw bone to decrease in that area.
Sinus Lifting Operation
The sinus lifting operation allows implants to be applied to the edentulous areas as a result of filling the sinus cavities that are hanging down with bone grafts. Thanks to this operation, the ideal bone volume required for the implant to be placed is created. Thus, implants can be applied at safe limits.
